Transitioning to Canagan
When feeding Canagan for the first time we suggest you introduce gradually over a week. On day one mix 25% Canagan with 75% of the previous food, on day three make it 50% of each, day five is 75% Canagan, working up to 100% Canagan on day seven.
If the dog is overweight, reduce food intake by 10%. If the dog looks underweight increase food intake by 10%. Continue until the correct weight is achieved. Always ensure there is clean drinking water available. Store in a cool dry place.
Canagan Feeding Guidelines
Transitioning to Canagan: Introduce Canagan gradually over a seven-day period:
- Day 1: Mix 25% Canagan with 75% of the current food.
- Day 3: Mix 50% Canagan with 50% of the current food.
- Day 5: Mix 75% Canagan with 25% of the current food.
- Day 7: Feed 100% Canagan.
Weight Management:
- For overweight dogs, decrease daily food intake by 10%.
- For underweight dogs, increase daily food intake by 10%.
- Adjust as necessary until the optimal weight is achieved.
